If a day passes and I do not see Lamia,
How can I speak to her soul to heaven?
Her gaze radiated love and intelligence;
Her face bore the marks of grace and obedience.
Her character is devoid of pride;
Humility enhances her beauty and radiance.
Her heart holds love and is a balm for healing;
Her words are truthful, without deceit or hesitance.
I adore you; O, star of the night in the heights,
Your smile’s light illuminates the darkness of the desert
When the moon disappears into the dinginess,
She remains awake with writers and lovers.
Through your efforts, you brought joy and cheerfulness Beautiful Princess Lamia
To a soul burdened with worries and sufferance.
You were created to be a role model for women,
Among those who are wise, generous, and applaudable.
You represented your homeland with satisfaction and assurance,
O flame of creation and beauty in Eve.
My pen appreciates you with love and loyalty for the diligence
Of the Kingdom and the defeat of the poverty through performance.
The spirit of the Almighty showers you with
Everlasting health, efficiency and magnificence.
My soul embraces you and wishes you happiness,
And love with abundance of permanent affluence.

أهدي هذه القصيدة إلى الأميرة لمياء بنت ماجد آل سعود من المملكة العربية السعودية تكريماً لتضحياتها من أجل الإنسانية وجمال شخصيّتها الفريدة.
إذا مرّ بي نهار ولم أر لمياء كيف أُحدِّث روحها إلى السماء؟
نظراتها تشّع بالغرام والذكاء على وجهها سمة النعم والحياء
وبشخصها لا تشعر بالكبرياء فالتواضع يزيدها ميسماً وضياء
قلبها يحوي حبّاً وبلسم للشفاء كلماتها صدق بدون غش ورياء
أهواك يا نجمة الليل في العلاء بسمتك نورها ينير ظلام البيداء
عندما يختفي القمر في الخفاء تبقي ساهرة مع العشاق والأدباء
بسعيك أعطيت سرور السراء للنفس المُثقلة بالهموم والضراء
لقد خُلقتِ لتكوني قدوةً للنساء من بين أهل الرُشد والكرم والثناء
ومثّلتِ موطنك برضا واكتفاء يا شعلة الخَلق والجمال في حواء
قلمي يُقدّر شخصك بحبّ وولاء لعمل المملكة ودحر المَتْرَبَةِ بأداء
روح العليّة تمطر عليك الارتقاء بدوام الصحة والكفاءة ونعم البهاء
روحي تغمرك وتتمنّى لك الهناء مع المحبّة لمدى الأيام وكرم الثراء
