I am honoured to write my message comments here on my X page for you and the entire readers of the world.
It is with great respect and honour that I write this comment on my page in response to your statement: “You claim that the West misunderstands Islam and owes the Islamic world a great debt for our civilization”.
I do not dispute that Mohammadians have given us much knowledge beneficial to the civilization of the entire world. They, in turn, have taken and continue to take essential knowledge from Western civilization and have become accustomed to it without ignoring or rejecting it in their societies or modern lives!
This is not the point of my criticism.
My criticism, as a philosopher, writer, and academic author, is of the word “Islam.” From my personal perspective, and given my deep knowledge of research, investigation, and review of world civilizations, as well as your high and prestigious position as a symbol of authority for my country, Australia, and the intelligent British and other Commonwealth nations, I felt compelled to speak out.
I advise you that the word “Islam” is inaccurate and inappropriate when used by anyone, regardless of their background or position, to describe the Mohammadians world and its civilization. The word “Islam” is derived from the eloquent Arabic language, rich in synonyms, letters, structure, meaning, and the beauty of its pronunciation… unlike any other language in the world. No other language can rival it, especially in the magnificent Arabic literature and poetry.
The word “Islam” has misled the entire world! Especially academics and non-academics, universities and school presidents, doctors, professors, religious figures, teachers, media institutions and organizations, politicians, and others… Using the word “Islam” instead of “Mohammadians” is a mispronunciation because it applies to other religion sects and political organizations… Its use is not limited to Mohammadians alone. The truth is that anyone who embraces a belief submits themselves to that belief.
“ASLAM” is to submit: means to surrender to God. For example: to surrender one’s destiny or life to God, dedicating oneself to Him and committing to Him. During the era of the Muhammadians conquests, led by some fanatical caliphs, the word “Islam” spread rapidly throughout the world. This was because the caliphs’ leaders, lacking in philosophical understanding, imposed a policy on the peoples they conquered: “Convert to Islam or pay a heavy tax.” Many people converted to escape hunger and oppression, and from then on, the Mohammadians became known “Islam”!. This is a grave error in one’s knowledge and understanding.
